The old quarantine station in Western Australia housed immigrants, who arrived by boat from Europe after the 2nd world war. These people were either sic, or had been exposed to infections of any kind. Since decommissioning as a quarantine station youth camps, scouts and other voluntary organisations have used the facility. Reports of ghostly activity have been reported by some of these residents over the years.

During a survey by Westghost the above image was exposed for a period of 1/2hr (with an aperture of f2.8). in one of the main dormitories. This image shows an unusual blue fog over this one frame, the next frame on the film is clear. A blue fog is surprising as the bright exterior lights are sodium lamps which are orange. The same colour occurs on an image taken at the Bassendean house.

E-mail me about this site The above two images were taken in the main hall of the complex(the other two are enlargements of the first on the top left). The fourth image on the bottom right shows the situation where the first image was taken, illustrating the camera and photographer, with a torch. The enlargements show one of the windows at the far end of the hall with what appears to be a face in one of the pains of glass to the left.I feel this to be of sufficient interest to warrant inclusion here.

The above photo with an enlargement to the right, also seems to show a face through a window.
